How to use facial oil. I used to be so afraid of facial oils. I thought they would make my face greasy and that they would make me break out. Then one day, I took the plunge and tried one and the rest, as they say, is history. I find that my beauty routine is no longer complete without facial oils. I use them morning and night and they’ve almost replaced my creams. Although I still do love a great serum.
There is an oil for just about any skin condition you might have, it’s all about finding the one that suits your needs best.

Great post! I use patchouli oil in my face wash and moisturizer. Also use almond oil as eye cream at night. 😀
I haven’t tried patchouli oil yet. I really must find some!

I literally drink Facial Oil – LOVE it..my skin has always been drier so I slather everything on. For me the more dewy the complexion the better. I have tried RODIN Olio Lusso, Clarins, Aesop and currently just ‘L’Oreal – which is the least expensive but for me the best. I have had so many comments on my skin I shall continue – until the next best thing comes along…great post because facial oils can be superb if you find the right one…
Thank you! I’m so glad you like the post. I’ll have to try L’Oreal. I have combination skin and I love oil. I barely use regular face creams anymore!

That’s a great post. I’m currently testing & trying one, that i’m going to be reviewing as well. As you said, i’ve always declined to use a facial oil, coz i thought it would make me greasy. But see there, it isn’t the case at all, if you just use the right oil. Great chart card btw! 🙂
A great face oil will be your best friend, they balance out your skin and make it even better.

Thanks for writing such a detailed list of oil usage, oils really help the skin. Understand your sentiment towards the risk of a greasy outcome, but as you write oils become a natural addition to the routine, I feel the same way 🙂
