Hair Accessories. Alright, I did it, I just got a new hat… I have no idea where I’ll even wear it but it actually spoke to me, called out loudly, as I walked by Goorin Bros. aaand I had a that 11th hat free card with me, so it happened. There. No regrets, it’s mine. It’s a black felt floppy. Curiously, for all the black in my wardrobe I don’t have that many black hats. I’ll probably buy an extra band for it, maybe pink, so I can change it up every once in a while.

BEST HAIR ACCESSORIES

Still going through my belongings and I’ve realized that I really love hair accessories, hair bands and all sorts of sparklies that I can put in my hair. This must be left over from my ballet days when we decorated our buns with anything that sparkled and shined. Now that I’ve cut my hair it’s not so easy but I still have some fun gems to play with.

Feathers are great, they are perfect hair accessories that can be worn anytime of year.  I, however, usually pull them out during the holidays.

I also found the following head piece. Originally it was purchased to wear at my wedding but wound up wearing a more traditional tiara. This one has a little crystal that hangs down my forehead, looks a little bit Middle Eastern. It holds a special spot in my heart, I keep thinking I might make it into a necklace!

Hair accessories are a great way to adorn oneself for day or for night. They can range from a wonderful floppy hat to a simple hair pin or colourful scarf. Remember the best hair accessories are the ones that make you feel fabulous. Whatever you choose be confident that you will surely be a standout in any crowd.
