I’ve been slowly going through my things (hats, bags, shoes) and I’ve arrived at my watch collection. I’m still working on it but I think it’s pretty decent mix. The problem is that I really love vintage watches but they tend to be on the pricey side and getting them to work can be a whole other investment. I definitely gravitate to a more masculine style, with maybe a little sparkle thrown in!
Of course not all of these are in circulation, although I did actually wear the pocket watch once upon a time. It was my wedding gift to my husband but since he never wore it I adopted it, nothing wrong with that, a watch is meant to be worn after all! The tiny watch with the gold band belonged to my grandmother. It needs a bit of restoration work, I just haven’t gotten around to doing that yet.
Two of these are old Ebel watches and the other is a Poljot an old Russian watch, it says made in the USSR (don’t see that very often anymore). I don’t think they have any real monetary value but the sentimental value is priceless. These watches belonged to my grandfather and I’ve slowly managed to pillage them from my dad. To be fair I have an excellent watchmaker who did an absolutely beautiful job restoring them and keeps them fine tuned. So naturally I should be the one holding on to them right? They work perfectly now and I wear them all time, but I swear I’ll give them back, really I will……
This is my everyday watch. Nothing too special, I like it because it’s pink and sparkles and looks expensive…it wasn’t.
Okay, I knew that wasn’t all I had…. found three more! The one in the middle is frankly a little tacky but it looks pretty good with some of my bracelets.
The sad thing is that I’m sure I have more watches, I know I have more, some of them are just in storage. This makes me think that I’m going to have to do a little more digging OR I could just go shopping…..

Love all those watches! I only have two. Do you wear them often? Any time I think about possibly buying another watch, I realize that I usually look at my phone for the time.
I do, or I try to. Truthfully I go through phases where I might wear watches for a few months and then stop for a while. I really like the way a watch looks though, even though I also tend to use my phone for telling the time.
All of these a re lovely, I don’t know why but I’ve suddenly got really into watches at the moment, great post 🙂
Thanks! I know there just something about a nice watch. Can’t really explain it.
Great collection of watches! I love watches myself. It’s such an easy way to “glam”up an outfit.
Thanks! I totally agree with you
Wow, that’s a lot of watches. They’re all really nice. I’m actually in the need of a nice watch! Great blog 🙂
Kisses, Vilda
Thanks! They took a long time to collect and as I said I may or may not have “borrowed” a few of them…..
I love the watches! I love the pink one (fossil) and the one above it. 🙂

Thanks! I was really happy to find the pink one and it was fairly inexpensive too!
What a ncie vintage collection! Love it!
Thanks so much!
When you said ‘I definately gravitate to a more masculine style, with maybe a little sparkle thrown in’ I was just about to recommend the watch I have right now then I keep reading and scrolling down and lo and behold I see the exact same one I have! The fossil one. And as you mentioned it does look quite expensive, almost Michael Kors-esque.
That’s pretty funny! I love that watch, I think you’re right it feel like an MK…cool.
