Body Politic.
Another great discovery that I’d like to share is Body Politic, a cozy Vancouver store located just off Main Street. With a very casual and comfortable vibe, it’s just like shopping in your friend’s closet.
Lots of great finds and the best part is that they are committed to sourcing eco-friendly designers. With earthquakes on the West Coast and Superstorms on the East Coast it got me thinking that it’s so important that we pay attention to where our clothing comes from. Of course we are all familiar with Stella McCartney and her stand on the environment but there are so many smaller companies out there also trying to make a change.
This bag has such a great design that is right in line with all the amazing prints we are seeing for fall/winter.
I am coveting this dress. I love the pattern and that hint of yellow. I don’t know what it is about the blue and yellow combination but I’m a sucker for it!
My most favourite item in this store are the Yoga Jeans. Now, I don’t know how many of you are familiar with these but for those that aren’t keep reading. They are ridiculously soft and stretchy yet they have the 5 pockets and the look of regular jeans. They come in a range of styles including skinny and boot cut. The company, Second Denim, isn’t kidding when they say you can do yoga in them. Admittedly you’d be sweating like crazy but your flexibility wouldn’t be compromised. So it’s time to put all those awful yoga pants away (unless you are at the gym) and add these to your everyday wardrobe!

They have some great finds! South Africa is most definitely on my list of places to visit and I would love to see my family in person and not on skype!
I’m not convinced of the Yoga Jeans. I’ve tried them on a few times but haven’t ever bought a pair. A lot of people swear by them.
I wear them almost everyday!

I think the traditional yoga pants are a revelation. In many cases they are flattering to women who are otherwise very difficult to fit.
