Eyebrows before and after. I can’t believe I’m doing this post (it feels a little ridiculous) but I feel like Alisha at Beauty Mark needs one more shout out. Don’t worry though it’s a short post, just the before and after pictures of my eyebrows. I took the pics with my phone and it was pretty hilarious (for me anyway) because I wound up taking them in the lobby of my building. We have this gigantic mirror by the door and it has the best lighting…if it was full length that’s where I would do OOTD posts! So there I was this afternoon, standing in the lobby, camera phone poised and ready to go just hoping no one would walk through the door at that moment……
Okay not awful but they’re pretty thick and a little unruly. I specifically didn’t trim them before the appointment. Notice that they’re quite straight across. I’ve never had too much of an arch because it didn’t feel very natural for me. That and I didn’t really know how to do it on myself.
Okay, wait for it……
…….aaaannnnddddd Voila! A bit more of an arch, slightly tapered and totally cleaned up but not too different, they are still 100% ME! Alisha confirmed what I had previously learned that you want to follow the brow bone and they do exactly that.
What is comes down to is your brows are a part of your style. A prominent detail on your face they frame they eyes which really are windows into your soul. They need to be true to you. The most beautiful women in the world are individuals, secure in their skin they look natural and not overdone. Your brows are yours and shouldn’t be a copy.
I’m always worried about what my hair is doing, if my makeup is on right and I admit I never think of my brows but they are such an integral part of my presentation that they can’t be forgotten. Lesson learned.
On my last post someone commented that I’d struck Gold meeting Alisha, boy was she right!
Have you ever had your eyebrows done? What do you think of these eyebrows before and after pics?

Simply superb. Nice post.. 🙂
Freshly manicured brows feel as good as a haircut! Do you prefer traditional waxing, or go for threading? I find threading to be more precise but it makes me feel nauseous for some reason. So I stick with the wax, and try to keep it up on my own by tweezing… it only works for a few weeks, if that!
Teehee good job! That just reminded me that I need to get mine done!!!!
Ha! I love that you posted this! She did a fabulous job and it really is so weird to me how much of a difference it makes!
Now I need to go have a look at mine…

Beautiful! And don’t feel silly about your before and afters…just think of all the stuff I have shamelessly posted and you won’t have to feel silly at all.
SO great! She really added nice shape and definition to your brows. Brows are so important because they frame the eye. Keep up the good work!

I thought your eyebrows looked great even before! They look good after, too, just in a totally different way. But you should know they’re great to start with!

Interestingly! You know at me very wide eyebrows and in the course of time I found the line of eyebrows. In youth my eyebrows endured everything)))
I know, as I get older I’m going to have to start thinking more about maintaining them!
My friend said to me once that eyebrows can totally change your appearance and it’s absolutely true. You don’t think about it as much when you’re growing up but I’ve started getting threaded every two weeks because without it I look like an utter mess. Your eyebrows look great! To be honest, I just let me threading lady do her thing because I don’t know what I should and shouldn’t have so she just cleans them up for me so they aren’t a bushy mess.

I think that’s the best way I have to trust in Alisha, her eye and her training…so far so good!
Thanks so much for your comment, we really appreciate it!!
I´m obssesed with eyebrows! I´m always retouching them but I never seem to get the form that I want to because I´m afraid of going too thin and look like a drag Queen…. but yours have ended up very nicely!!!
Would you like to follow each other?? Let us know and we´ll follow back right away!

Beauty Mark has a shockingly dreadful website! It took me way too many clicks to find out where their actual shop is, and it isn’t actively advertising their services: the only reason I would ever know they offer brow shaping is because of your blog post, and as far as I know, you aren’t working for them. That’s just plain weird. One would think that a business specializing in aesthetics would have a well-designed, beautiful-to-look-at website promoting their services. Price list? Services? Hello? Beautymark.ca is completely off the mark. (See, they are even inspiring me to write terrible puns…!)
You’re right, they definitely need to work on their site! I just never look at it because they are down the street from me.
Alisha is a genius! She is a must whether you see her once a year or once a month. She’s also super nice and a pleasure to chat with while she is transforming your brows:)
I think your brows were beautiful before but they look absolutely perfect after! x
Awe, thanks that’s so nice!
Love that you took before and after photos! It’s incredible how much of a difference your eyebrows make to your face. I’m too much of a control freak to have anyone else do ’em for me, so I usually do them myself, except as of late, they look like Charlie Chaplan eyebrows, eeek! Alisha did a great job on you.
About the spamming comment, it was meant for people who only come to a blog to promote their own (I do it all the time). You, my dear, are a rare gem who actually takes the time to read what others write, and comment accordingly… I appreciate you 🙂
