Places to go in Warsaw. This city is freezing! I know, I know a few of you warned me and I listened. I have a pair of boots, a warm coat, a beanie and lots of layers but it’s still pretty cold! Our hotel, however, is wonderful and warm, we’re talking heated floors in the bathroom. The Radisson Blu, in downtown Warsaw, is fairly new and we scored a really large and open room with a fabulous unobstructed view of the Palace of Culture and Science which is definitely a must visit.
We immediately jumped out for some food, don’t know why but travel always makes me hungry. Then we bee lined it for one of my favourite coffee places, Vincent. It’s on the street Nowy Swiat, one of my favourite streets in Warsaw. There’s just something about the smell of fresh baked bread and pastries. This is definitely one of those places where I could see myself blogging in the summer.
Of course we just had to share a croissant with our coffee. Then off we went to say hello to the Old Town. It’s just like visiting an old friend. In the summer this place is usually packed. The restaurants all have outdoor patios, artists line the street with paintings and trinkets and on some days you can barely move for the number of tourists. A little more empty in the winter but still incredibly beautiful and some tourists still braved the freezing temperatures.
This cold ‘spring’ they are having can’t dampen the fact that the architecture and colours are a huge inspiration for me! These are only a few of the places to go in Warsaw, this is a fabulous city I can see myself visiting over and over again.

I’ve never been to Warsaw – it looks beautiful! Love the cobblestone streets… good thing you brought boots!!
They are so hard to walk on!!!! I see all these women running around in heels and I’m embarrassed to say that I’m completely humbled by them.
You’re right, that architecture is down right gorgeous! And that bakery shot looks unbelievably delicious. Hope you have a good trip!
