SUSTAINABLE SHOPPING HOLIDAY SPOTLIGHT
In the many years since I’ve started this blog I’ve been very fortunate to come across a lot of talented individuals. Today I’m thrilled to introduce you to Robyn who is the owner and mastermind behind LePrix Clothing, a sustainable clothing boutique (and so much more).
Our mission is to foster sustainability, self-love and empowerment through a fun and safe shopping experience.
I’ve been to Robyn’s shop and it’s extremely charming and looks just like your dream closet. Yes, I was that rude person trying to maintain eye contact with her while we chatted, but my eyes kept wandering to the shelves. I just couldn’t help myself. There was so much to see and I was ready to try everything on!
Le Prix Helps People Love Themselves and the Planet
Our goal is to help awesome independent women feel confident and able to take on the world so they can pursue their passions. We keep sustainability, self-love, and giving back to the community at our core.
Best of all you can shop online or Instagram if you can’t make it to the store! Not only that, but Robyn is also a stylist (with fabulous taste) so if you need help in that department, she’s there to guide you through any event. Additionally, she can help re-vamp your entire closet.
Now let’s talk dresses for a moment. Holiday season is almost here and pretty soon there will be holiday parties and dinners and you’ll need something to wear, right? If you are like me, you tend to wear the same thing over and over again and pretty much hope that you don’t see the same people at each event.
This is the perfect time to revisit your closet and put together a general plan of what you will wear. I do this every season because I like to have a general idea of what I already own and what I might need. Also, it takes the stress out of last minute planning. If you’ve ever been to an event where you’ve felt less than comfortable in what you are wearing, then you can probably relate.
While you watch this video, think about what you currently own. Do your dresses speak for themselves (like the red dress in the video) and only require very simple, barely there accessories? Do you opt for simpler pieces that can handle a chunky necklace or dramatic earrings? What silhouettes do you feel most comfortable in and which ones highlight your best assets? Answer these questions and the holiday season will be a breeze.
Robyn’s time lapse video is somewhat genius because you can actually see what the final outfit will look like without having to imagine it. With some minor tweaks like, tights, ankle boots or a warm shawl, each outfit can be adapted for cooler temperatures!
