Weekend Inspiration October 2014. Every now and then I like these posts, where I get to look back at the past few weeks and remember all the good stuff that has happened. They help to reinforce all of the great things that I already have, the fascinating new people I have met or reconnected with and the exciting mini-adventures I have experienced.

WEEKEND INSPIRATION OCTOBER 2014

Beauty. The past few weeks have been really effective for filling my beauty closet. I received tons of beauty products and samples, including a wonderful new perfume which will be ideal for winter. A good blogging buddy, Beauty Expression by Luchessa, and I got together to do a giveaway for an exciting book called, “Scent and Subversion”, which you can find here. In my travels, I discovered some amazing new organic skincare products that have done wonders for my complexion. Lastly, I’ve realized just how much I love a dark nail polish for fall.

Style. From how to wear plaid, to how to choose the perfect heels, to what to pack for a mini getaway, October has been huge for expanding my repertoire of practical style. The month isn’t quite over and I’m so excited about what is yet to come.

Travel. October was definitely a month dedicated to discovering mouthwatering new restaurants and seeing a little bit more of the world. My time spent in Prague was a great chance to reconnect with family and wander through meandering streets, where each turn brought a new discovery.

The next few weeks will bring some major changes, including yet another move and some new work partners. I am excited to start a new venture in the world of fashion. So I’m taking this moment to reflect, before closing my eyes and jumping in! You can follow along on Instagram.

What great things have happened for you this past month?
